My baby is 2 going on 13....WOW!!! It's crazy to think how fast time goes. It seems like yesterday we were brining him home from the hospital. He has turnd out to be such a fireball with a temper from HELL :) The little stinker wants nothing to do with toys and gets into EVERYTHING he shouldn't. He keeps his mommy on her toes. Jace loves to play with his big brothers and cousins. He loves his mommy, daddy and grandmas but his heart belongs to his papas.

Jacer we love you very much and are thankful to have you in our family.

For Mother's day/our 8th Anniversary this year we took..... well the boys took me to a Jazz playoff game. We just did 2nd row seats the weekend before and this time we were 2nd to last row. Wow let's just say I'll pay a little extra for a bit lower *lol* We had a great time with the boys and I had a wonderful Mother's day.

This year for Easter we stayed in town and did the local egg hunt. It was a bit chilly but the kids had fun. Later we colored eggs at my parents house. Easter morning Mr. Bunny visited our home. Then we ate lunch at the Martinsen's and dinner at the Meier's. The kids were excited to have 4 egg hunts.

Wow...my little baby turned 7 on March 25th. He is becoming such a little man and oh such a drama Queen. He's in 1st grade this year and loves the social part of it. He brings home phone numbers of his buddies and girlfriends daily. He is even starting to stress out about who he is going to marry. But I guess that's about the age you have your first love :) Treven we are proud of you and love you very much.

Lester the Leprechaun visited the house this year on St. Patty's day. He turned the boy's dinner green. They thought that was pretty cool to have a midget turn their food green but wanted a pot of gold to go with it:) They are at some fun ages to do the holidays with.

This year for Valentines Day I got all my Men soft blankets and fuzzy pillows. The boys were way excited to have a soft blankee to snuggle with every night. They got me a very cute tulip plant while grocery shopping with their daddy. Thanks to my little Valentines and I love you all :) xoxox

Well this is going to be the "in a nutshell" post. We had a wonderful Christmas this year.

-The Martinsen's had Santa over and everyone loved it but Jace. He was pissed to have to sit on his lap. My nephew Lincoln (my sisters oldest) calls Shawn's mom Grandma Paula so she invited them over to see Santa also. Thanks, Grandma Paula

-We celebrated the Martinsen Christmas on Christmas Eve. Rick and Paula spoiled us as usual and we made out like bandits. They pretty much bought out Toys-R-Us for each of the kids.

-Christmas day was at home. Shawn and I didn't have food poisoning this year, so wrapping gifts was more enjoyable. The boys got up around 4:30 ish. They were at a very fun age this year and really enjoyed their toys. But I'd have to say the most entertaining gift was the new Super Mario Bros. Wii game. Shawn played it for 3 days straight with them to pass the big castle.

-After opening Santa gifts we headed out to the Snow cabin at Brighton Ski Resort. That's where the Meier's have spent the last few Christmases. Grammy and Papa got each of the boys bikes and toys. They kids loved sleeding and sitting in the hot tub.

Steph's 27th Birthday

WOW....I'm an old lady!!! Well I celebrated my 27th Birthday on the 19th. I really did have a great day. It started off with Shawn going and getting the boys and I McDonald's and Burger King for breakfast. Then my dad sent me 27 BEAUTIFUL red, rust and orange-yellow roses. I had many phone calls, facebook comments and got some awesome gifts. Later that night Rick, Paula, myself and the kids went down to get the Swine Flu shot( I don't know who was more scared us adults or the kids) and then off to Wingers we went. On Friday we went to Cobble Rock for dinner with our good friends the Hackings. Then on Sunday my mom had us over for a tasty dinner and some really good coconut cream pie from JB's (my new favorite).

Thanks everyone for helping me celebrate my Bday.

My little man turned 4 on Oct. 25th. Oh how time flies. Kyler is the little spit-fire of our family. He's loud, lippy and sassy but has a huge heart. I'm excited to see what kind of a handsome little man he will continue to turn into.

Great Grandma White

August 1st, 1917-October 31st, 2009

My Great Grandma White passed away on Halloween morning. It was a good thing though. She has been waiting for my Great Grandpa to come get her and take her home(he passed 7yrs ago). We were very lucky to have the chance to know our Great Grandma and for my boys to know their Great Great Grandma. She was the funniest/dirtiest G.ma. My favorite memory of her will always be Easter. As a child we tried to go to Jerome, Idaho to spend the holiday with her. We loved dying eggs and putting puzzles together with her.

Grandma you will be greatly missed but you are with your love again and I know you are happy. We will miss you much!

Sorry there are lot s of photos.....as usual but i promise i don't just sit and blog all day. I load photos while I'm doing laundry or cleaning the kitchen. Anyhow here are some photos of our latest camping trips. The top set of photos are of us at Flaming Gorge on my parents boat and camping with the Hackings and Nybergs. Then the bottom group was camping with Shawn's parents and niece Hunter and nephew Gavin. Like I said sorry about all the photos but I love to take them so why not share???

Well we finally got the camper up on the mountain. We got Shawn's parents to go with us and other than the rain we had fun. I will say there is one good thing about Vernal....camp was only 23 minutes from our house.

Well the boys have been begging me to get a dog and I finally gave in but we didn't stop at one we decided that we needed two. So here are our newest family members...Harry and Lloyd. They are English Bulldogs and have been awesome puppies. They are great with the kids and love to be loved.

Shawn's sister in law Misty (TC's wife) came to town with her two boys....Chase-5 and Tyler-9mo. I haven't' seen Misty for about 6 years and we have never seen the kids so it was fun to finally get together. We let the kids play at my house for a few hours then went to Ricci and Wes's house for a dinner and cake for Shawn's 26th bday.

A Hot date a Hernia and a Hotel

Well Shawn and I got to spend some time alone. Not really my idea of a break though. I had to get Umbilical Hernia surgery so we went out on Thursday night and had a nice dinner at the New Yorker. It was nice but we didn't know that is was a nice dress up steak house so we were just a bit out of place. But the food was good. Then we stayed at Little America and I had surgery Friday morning. After having to do the typical hospital wait... I had a 45 min. surgery and was on my way. We went to Chili's for lunch and I guess Shawn felt bad for me cause I was able to talk him into taking me to Tai Pan to do some shopping. I must have been on some good drugs still cause the store was spinning and I couldn't find anything to buy. After that we went back to the hotel and I still was feeling GOOD so I went to shop the hotel stores and got us some yummy dessert. On Sat. we went to Pier One and got some house stuff and then went to Cabelas forever...All in all it was fun to spend time with my honey for a few nights. Thanks mom and dad for taking the boys for us. We appreciate you. Attached are the photos of Jace eating Oreo cookies thanks the Grandpa Meier.

We were lucky enough to have the whole family healthy and got to have baby Elley (Erin and Kendal Hacking)come visit. The boys loved it. Kyler was sooo excited.

Christmas was a good one this year....hahah. Shawn and I got food poisoning from Taco Bell. Shawn got sick Christmas Eve morning so he got left home while I took the boys to the Martinsen's family dinner and as soon as I got done there I got sick. I was puking while wrapping gifts and Shawn couldn't sit up for more than 2 minutes. It was a Christmas Eve we will always remember. It sucked!!! And to boot Jace didn't want to go to sleep and was teething so I had my hands full. Other than that it was a great Christmas.

All I want for Christmas is.....

Shawn went on a white tail deer hunt in Ohio and to put it nicely....it sucked. Well for him it did. I didn't mind the time alone to get the things done that I needed to do.(laundry) But
Kyler did come up with strep and I got a cold that I'm still fighting. Anyhow my mom likes to give Shawn crap so she had my uncle Craig put this redneck hunting deer on our lawn for Shawn's homecoming. It was pretty funny but I think we got the last laugh. We put humping reindeer on her lawn. I'm sure the neighbors really like living by some perverts. *lol*

A special moment......

Shawn and I were in bed Saturday morning and woke up to Treven reading. When I got up to see what he was doing I found him in Jace's room. He was sitting in front of his swing reading to Jace. It was so cute cause Trev usually doesn't have anything to do with Jace. He said that he was teaching him the ABC's and how to read. It was so cute. I accidentally deleted the cute photo that Trev didn't know I took.

Well it's a bit early but we cut our Christmas tree down last Saturday. Shawn and I have cut our own tree down since we have been married and just wanted to keep it a Martinsen Family tradition. The weather was perfect and I think the boys enjoyed themselves. Here are just some fun photos that I got on the mtn.My boys next to the "kid" tree. We let the kids get their own and decorate it. It is such a fun tree and a lot easier to put the lights on then the big one was.

Happy Birthday to ME!! Well it was the Big 26th Birthday yesterday and damn I feel old! :) But I'm "Happy". I was so spoiled and had a very busy day. Shawn and the boys got me the movie Wall-E and the beautiful orange/yellow flower bouquet with balloons. Gilbert (aka: Dad) got me the awesome Red bouquet. He sends us girls flowers every year on our Birthdays. Thanks Guys!!! Mindy and the boys surprised me with a box of yummy doughnuts and a cute card....thanks linc and grunt aunt stephie loves you. xoxo

Shawn and I did dinner with our good friends Erin and Kendal Hacking. Thanks guys it was fun to get out even if you are Nerds *lol*

Well I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for such a great day. That really was one of the best Birthdays. Thanks to facebook I was remembered by lots.

We got snow!!!

When the boys woke up they thought it was Christmas and were ready to open gifts.
